Did you read all of that? If so then...
There are so many questions to ask, I don't know where to begin. Ok Joe, you're 6' freakin 7", and you played four years for the Sioux. Did you really think that the university cops wouldn't know who you are?
If you're not familiar with the geography of Grand Forks, ND, and I'm sure that you aren't, I'll attempt to explain where our future stay-at-home Dman decided to clean house. If this happened in State College, they would have been throwing their garbage on Beaver Ave. Columbia Rd is one of two main thoroughfares in Grand Forks. There is no way that this was going to go unnoticed.
I'm not sure how I feel about the sh*t eating grin in his mug shot. On one hand, at least show a little bit of remorse that you got arrested. On the other hand, he probably knew that the photo would be hitting the internet within hours so a smiling picture is better than a "crap, what just happened" picture.
College hijinks seems to be a family tradition. Here's a news story on his big sis while she was in college. Good news Joe, USA Today hasn't picked up your story. Yet.
I guess the good news in all of this is that hockey fans are very understanding of rookie mistakes. They'll never remind you of this. Honest. Just don't read the Penn Live boards during the season, n-kay? N-kay.

Every few years one of them comes along. I guess this will be the year. I hope he shows that much enthusiasm on the ice.
It's not like these things were felonies. Growing up in ND, I understand getting stir crazy, but this isn't the way to impress the suits in the front office.
He seemed like a nice level headed kid when I talked to him, so let's hope this was a one time deal. His partner in crime got suspended for two games and had his scholarship $ reduced.
