John Walton reported today that the Bears have re-signed the AHL record holder for most points in a season, Alexander Giroux!

All I have to say is:

Take that WBS Pens. I had to sit though a month of you monkeys telling me on various boards that G was signing with the flightless fowls. He was getting a one way deal...he was getting a two way with an equal salary for both leagues...etc. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Now for my comeuppence:

I'm not a proud man, when I make a call and get shown my *ss, I'll admit it. I didn't think that we'd see Giroux back in the chocolate & white this year. I honestly expected him to get a better offer somewhere in the NHL or he'd chase the money in the KHL. I am glad to admit that I was WRONG. Now if Aucoin doesn't stick with the Caps and can clear waivers, we'll be able to see 2/3's of the most productive line in the AHL next(this?) season.
